¡En la página oficial de MANOWAR han empezado a revelar la portada del nuevo álbum GODS OF WAR!

Además también dan más información sobre el contenido y dicen que la pieza “Overture To The Hymn Of The Immortal Warriors” -FUCK YEA! ESE ES UN NOMBRE EPICO!- pone el tono para algo que MANOWAR nunca ha hecho antes.

Con este álbum los REYES DEL METAL comienzan un ciclo -al estilo WAGNERIANO- de álbums en el que se va a rendir tributo a los dioses vikingos. En GODS OF WAR se inicia este ciclo con ODIN. EL GRANDIOSO DIOS PADRE DE TODOS LOS DIOSES... HAILS!

En esta portada son 4 los GUERREROS -UNO POR CADA REY DEL METAL EN MANOWAR!- y el título "GODS OF WAR está escrito al estilo vikingo! simplemente PUTAMADRENCREIBLE!

Lo malo es que el álbum saldrá hasta el 3 de abril en Estados Unidos y Canada y sale mucho antes -a finales de febrero en Europa... a ver si mandan algunas copias a Euruapan (Michoacán) por error y ahí nos hacemos de ellas, bros! XD- y como esos países son nuestros vecinos del norte seguramente nosotros lo podremos conseguir hasta entonces porque, además, no hay fechas para el resto de América así que tendremos que esperar hasta que salga o conseguirlo por internet antes y cuando esté disponible comprarlo inmediatamente... TODO LO RELACIONADO A MANOWAR SE COMPRA ORIGINAL! NADA COMO TENER LOS DISCOS ORIGINALES!

MANOWAR has started to give away parts of the CD cover for the upcoming new album GODS OF WAR, which is set to be released on February 23, 2007 in Germany (February 26 for the rest of Europe and April 3 for the USA/Canada).

Next to this first taste of what the album cover will look like, the band also gives away a bit more info about the CD - concept, including 2 more song-titles.

GODS OF WAR is MANOWAR’s first entry in a cycle of concept albums; each a tribute to a different war god. Opening with the epic piece “Overture To The Hymn Of The Immortal Warriors”, the tone is set for an album beyond anything MANOWAR has done before. This album honors Odin - almighty father of the Norse gods - and details the history and exploits of this storied character. His power and wisdom were unmatched among the gods and he is paid tribute with human sacrifice on the battlefield, as heard in the song “The Sons Of Odin”, the stomping title track “Gods Of War” and the storytelling “The Blood Of Odin”.
